Richard Lugar is planning to run for a seventh term in 2012.
It is time for this CONSERVATIVE IN NAME ONLY to retire for many
reasons:1. After 36 years he is totally out of touch with his conservative base in Indiana.
2. He has been a solid anti-gun Senator for over 20 years.
3. He favors Amnesty and Social Security for illegal aliens.
4. He wants unilateral nuclear disarmament.
5. He has voted to confirm the three most left wing extremist Justices on the Supreme Court.
6. He voted to Ration Political Speech within 60 days of an election.
7. He supports Cap and Tax and the drastic CO2 Reduction.
8. He votes against the Republican Party Leadership over 20% of the time.
9. He voted against eliminating earmarks or returning unused TARP money to the Treasury.
10. Politics as usual politition who joined the Democrats in pushing to have bad bills passed without real debate during the Lame Duck Secession of 2010. Dream Act and Start Treaty
11. He won't sign the letter calling for the repeal of ObamaCare.
12. His press secretary Mark Hayes is already trying to missrepresent Lugars record on Illegal Immigration and Cap and Trade.
13. At 80 years old he will be a lame duck with even less interest in representing Indiana Conservtives.

It is vital that the Tea Parties support one and only one candidate. When there are multiple good candidates very often that gives the win to the worst choice of many if they have name recognition. It happened with McCain in'08 and Coats in 2010.
